The Glowy Dewy Makeup Look

It’s finally summer and the UK is living its best life with this heatwave! It’s supposed to last about 4 weeks, it’s the best however I have to work in it and being a waitress running in and out of the kitchen, where that’s 40 degrees, running around like headless chickens, and making our makeup last we have to really try, I’ve found the perfect combination of products to give me that dewy, glowy makeup look!

Primer: This primer is incredible, it’s totally cruelty free and vegan too, it’s like a moisturiser but un primer form, hydrating on the skin, it doesn’t clog your pores up but smooths out the imperfections in your skin.

EE green tea primer, it’s like MACs prep and prime but much cheaper!!

Foundation: Rimmel lasting perfection breathable foundation in the shade ivory, I’ve never ever ever seen a foundation raved about as much as this foundation was raved about! It is truly incredible… it’s so light on the skin however the coverage is truly insane, it’s a medium to high coverage but it doesn’t have a heavy weight like most high coverage foundations! I usually mix some revolution highlighter drops into my foundation to give me that glow without caking my face in powders!

Concealer: I use two different concealers, I usually use the collection lasting perfection concealer in the shade extra fair and the revolution conceal and define concealer to cover those under eye bags, both concealers are used in different areas of my face but because of the colours they add a slight brightness to under my eyes, the bridge of my nose, my cupids bow, and my cheek bones…

Powder: I use the Rimmel lasting perfection translucent loose powder, Syd and Ell from @SYDANDELL got me into this and I can’t describe how much I love it, it has no flashback, it’s so light weight your face doesn’t go cakey.

Contour:

I use the freedom hula light, I only use this on my cheek bones to add some depth to my face however I never use that much because with a dewy look you don’t want to add to much powder to ones look.

Bronzer:

The Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess is truly incredible, its shimmery light weight, the perfect colour, it’s worth the money, it’s the perfect golden colour for when you are pale or when you’ve got a tan, mine goes away in the winter and I know when it comes out its summer again.

Highlighter:

As ive mentioned before I use the revolution highlighter drops, in the shade unicorn elixir, I mix this into my foundation and the highlighter I use on my cheek bones is high beam by benefit, this is the perfect pearly dewy highlighter!

Eyeshadows:

I have a fair few shadows that I like to use but my two main ones are my go to Anastasia Beverly hills modern renaissance palette because of the beautiful shimmers and the orange tones, I also love the Naked 1 palette with the golden shimmery colours, they are beautiful shades.

Brows:

The NYX brow pencil in the shade three, it’s a medium dark, I have recently had my brows tinted so I don’t really need to fill them out too much, the NYX brow pencil is the cheaper version of the Anastasia brow wiz.

Mascara:

Ive most recently had my lashes lifted and tinted so I don’t really use mascara but the mascara I use is the Rimmel argon oil Rita Ora mascara. It’s so good for lifting and curling those lashes, it’s also so hydrating and with the weather as good as it is you don’t want your lashes drying out so the argon oil is incredible for hydrating the lashes.
